I recently updated to 2.3.6, and I have this problem too.
The SwitchControlGenerator module files are there, they contain the 1.1.0 version (was 1.0.2 previously).
/var/log/ shows the module being loaded at start up with no error, but it just doesn't appear anywhere in the UI.

Re: Can't log in under 2.2.2
Same here. 2.2.2 is unusable for many people. I reverted to 2.2.1 for now, but had the problem with getting to the webif as well. Thought I was going to have to trash the whole thing, but renaming the previous directory and rebooting a couple of times got me back. Not touching 2.2.2 again... My Home...

Re: Schedule app not working
Still on 2.1.1 here too, was waiting to see lots of posts with "2.2.0 working great for me" before I tempted fate (again, all the releases in the last 12 months seem to break something fundamental)

Re: UPS Pico experiences?
I tried using an adafruit powerboost 1000 with their recommended 2amp power supply and lithium battery. (about $30 total) I wanted something to be able to carry the RPi around the house when including wall switches, etc. Looked good to start with, it kept the raspberry pi running while off wall powe...

Re: Schedule app not working
Go to the scheduled scene, re-select the scene you want to have triggered, and save it again. Failing that, you may need to delete the scheduled scene and re-create it. Something doesn't get saved to the card properly that causes this, or something about the scenes themselves makes them lose their n...

Re: Scheduled scenes not being executed after reboot
I've had this problem as well. Seems to be related to the naming of the scene, or the contents of the scene. After a reboot, some of the devices revert to their generic names (same as when first included), and those scenes no longer works. I have had to remove a scene, remake it and re-edit the sche...

Re: Cannot get ANY device to associate
Not sure if this is your problem, but as a FAQ, remember that for inclusion, the device you are including needs to be in direct RF range of the controller. Once it is included, commands to/from it can be routed via other devices, but for inclusion, you need it close. For wall switches and sockets, t...

Re: Alarm monitoring companies
I thought that home alarms were not allowed to auto-dial 911, too many false triggers. They can only dial the alarm company, who either sends out their own patrol vehicles, or if it is a fire alert, then they can call 911 on your behalf. 911 won't dispatch to a general "somethings wrong" u...

Re: Confused about LogicalRule
So, by default the module is pretty intuitive. I couldn't disagree more. I started with the V1.7 era, could never get LogicalRule to do anything I wanted. The confusion about the Time contstraint not being usable as a scheduling mechanism came up many times, it is totally intuitive to think it coul...
