Re: Eurotronic Spirit external Sensor

Hi there, it doesn't seem to work properly. My average Room Temperature influences the thermostat in some way, but not a good one. In the room where I tried out the virtual thermostat, the thermostat keeps on heating even if the target is set to something around 18°C and temperature reached 24°C. As...

Re: Eurotronic Spirit external Sensor

Hi there,

thanks for the reply. I took a look and I can both pick the thermostat and the mathematica value as input. So does the virtual thermostat app send the chosen value to the thermostat? If that's the case, then I'm all set.

Thanks and best regards,
rws

Eurotronic Spirit external Sensor

Hi guys/gals, after being with ZWay for over two years and unsuccesfully ( http://forum.z-wave.me/viewtopic.php?f=3419&t=24080 ) trying to create a thermostat that takes external values as an input, eurotronic sort of helped me out. They released the Spirit Z (flirs, yaaay) that allows to configure ...

Re: Remote Access limitations, Carrier NAT

Excellent, thanks for the clarification.

I will setup the system and report on progress the next time, I visit.

Remote Access limitations, Carrier NAT

Hello there, Are there any limitations regarding the IP the zway server must have? I want to set up a second razberry system which is connected to the internet via surfstick/router of an ISP. So the router does not have a public IPv4, but instead some IP in changing private ranges. Would the remote ...

Re: Daylight32 & IF->THEN problems

Hi there,

unfortunately, no I haven't. As this is my outdoor Shade-Control and I won't need it until next Spring, I am hoping that the next release will fix this problem in the meantime. Lazy approach, I know.

Re: Use of Vision ZD2102EU window sensor with IFTHEN

Hi there,

Just asking to clarify: Did it start working or stop working on your setup?

My observation is that switches, that are presumed to be on do not get triggered with the on-command. Same goes for off and switch-off commands.

Re: Very advanced virtual Thermostat

very true, the controlled system is very slow.

I plan to manipulate the target temperature of the thermostat using a delta-sigma principle between measured temps and room-target temps. The possibility of oscillation should be minimal if I use a hysteresis and various corrective measures :-)

Re: Very advanced virtual Thermostat

My idea is to use the updated average temperature provided by the mathematica module . When either the average temperature or the target temperature get changed it will trigger the re-evaluation of the calculation. As i'm quite busy right now, I won't have the time to tackle this right away. Current...

Re: Very advanced virtual Thermostat

thanks for the idea, I'll have to read up on my javascript skills prior to doing that, but it seems doable. I think this should be worth the effort, once I crack this problem, it'll open up further ideas. :-) Is there any codesample you know of where I can get into the proper syntax? thanks and best...
