Re: z-way-server does not start in Stretch

You can't blame people's possibly unsafe workarounds to get the software working on something that isn't officially supported, on the software itself. There is no security issue with running Z-Way on Jessie. And again, to prevent any misunderstandings, I very much agree that they should support Stre...

Re: z-way-server does not start in Stretch

Security implies a strong urge to keep systems updated. Which then also means a strong urge to make sure supplied products are supported on up-to-date systems. While I aggree that Stretch should be supported, and that it's not a huge amount of work to do so, Jessie will be maintained until May 2020...

Re: Offline installation/use?

Not sure about installing, but you can run it independently from z-wave.me. Remote access is an option in settings that can be turned on and off.

Re: find.z-way.me working?

We have switched them both down and after that during some time (until your DNS updates) you might be redirected to individual find2 and find3. Please clean DNS cache and browser cache, as well as cookies. Ok, I will try that. In the meantime I can tell you that when I just now tried to log in thro...

Re: find.z-way.me working?

We have launched two additional servers for find.z-wave.me services. Currently we are looking how the load is balanced. Please let us know here if you experience problems accessing find.z-wave.me service. At least find2.z-wave.me that the service redirects to defaults to non SSL. Even if manually e...

Drop legacy Jessie and get it running on Stretch.
They can't just drop Jessie. Almost all of their customers are running Jessie. They definitely need to get it running on Stretch, I agree, but in the meantime you can download and install one of the Jessie images.

Re: [userModule] Network Presence

Ping hysteresis size is now limited to no less than 2 (1 would not produce unexpected side effects, but is equivalent to no hysteresis). Version is bumped to 0.3 to make sure the update is pushed. This version is currently being verified, but it's available with the token mentioned in the first post.

Re: [userModule] Network Presence

Version 0.1 was just verified and can be installed without the token. I have also updated the module to version 0.2. It is no longer a singleton, so if you want to add devices with different settings, you can now instantiate several instances each with different settings for their associated devices...

Re: [Android] Habitat - Open Beta test

There is a slight inconvenience/annoyance with the GUI. When showing the device list in a room, the edit-button in the bottom right corner is covering the value of the bottom device. Considering that editing a room description is something one does very rarely, perhaps it would be better to remove t...

Re: [userModule] Network Presence

Maybe it is prossible to improve the presence detection using hping like mentioned here? https://community.openhab.org/t/iphone-presence-detection-with-hping3-and-arp/18171/9 I'm not super familiar with hping, but I don't think hping itself will help. The solution you link to also uses arp, but in ...
