Re: GE Smart Fan Control In-Wall 12730

Yes, I have one that I use. Just make sure you add it to Niffler.

v2.2.5-13-g7d2d14f.tgz

RaspberryPiXTools-v2.2.5-13-g7d2d14f.tgz

Noticed this build (dated Dec.12th) today when checking to see if a build was released that addressed the issue of having to re-interview a device that just stops responding to commands.

Anyone know anything about this build ?

Re: Device stops working - new interview required

Thanks pz1 for opening the issue on Git. Now we need a 2.2.6 that addresses the loss of z-wave control ASAP. Allow me to write the release notes.

Code: Select all

2.2.6 Corrects issue with having to re-interview specific z-wave devices.

Re: Device stops working - new interview required

I have the exact same problem with Leviton dimmer/scene capable switches. Works for a day or days - sometimes hours and then stops responding to actions (e.g. on/off etc.). The device will indicate active and even reflect a state change if I toggle the Leviton switch. Re-interview and it works again...

Re: Zooz Z-Wave Plus MiniPlug

After installing a Gen2 Razberry board on a new Pi3 running 2.2.3, I was able to successfully include the Zooz mini plug (1st try) and I'm happy to report it's showing a full energy report. Not sure why I had multiple failed interviews (had to force it each and every time) on the Gen1 but nonetheles...

Re: Razberry V2 and RU Frequency

@PoltoS, Things are looking great so far. I reset the gen2 board and installed on a fresh Pi3 this morning. Overlooking the 'RU' frequency and running 2.2.3, I was able to add a Schlage lock successfully and the Zooz mini receptacle is now reporting energy usage. I tried at least 3x with the Gen1 bo...

Re: Razberry V2 and RU Frequency

You are correct, I initially removed Gen1 and swapped in Gen2 and loaded from a backup. When I discovered I was having issues with 2.2.4 I restored and put Gen1 back into production. I then took Gen2 and installed it in a brand new Pi3. I forgot to set the controller to factory default (I believe th...

Re: Razberry V2 and RU Frequency

OK, that makes me a feel a little better. On to my next question, I have a 1st gen Razberry that I use in production. When I startup the 2nd gen Razberry, it see's all the devices on gen1 Raz, although it cannot control them (which is good at the moment). Is this to be expected even though I haven't...

Razberry V2 and RU Frequency

Just received the new board (stamped with a U) and installed in a new Raspberry Pi3. Loaded with 2.2.4 and I can change the frequency to US but it doesn't survive a reboot. Once bounced, it's back to RU. Going to 2.2.3 is obviously not an option as I cannot change to anything other than 'RU'. Let's ...
