Funny, Polto wrote you can restore it from backup, you wrote you have the backup files. So, sometimes its good to read and understand. I just want to give you an idea what to do...... If you read the forum or manual you will find the answer. But I understand its easier to ask and waste other peoples...

If they are faint, the firmware is not starting (very unlikely unless you also updated the chip firmware during this maintenance). If they are bright, this means memory fault. FLASH memory have to be replaced. Of course it will clear your installation, but you can restore it back from the backup, s...

HI, in general it has nothing to do with zwave, even there are existimg interfaces.
But, I want to say that I wouldn´t use zwave if I have a central point, where i can control all devices.
Then there is no need to use zwave from my point of view.
