Just upgraded from an early v2 package...
The new UI is a nice improvement. However, two of my devices are show their default names ("Switch 8:0"). When I go into the device settings page, change the name, and hit save, the name is not updated.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: v2 Rocks!
Sorry, I should've said which interface I was using...
All of my observations are from within Expert UI.
I checked, and the "old" names came across in HA.

v2 Rocks!
Thank you! I just installed the new firmware and UI, and find it much improved over the prior version I was using (1.7.2). A few observations: - The firmware update never automagically showed an update to v2.0.0. Instead, after about 15 minutes I opened a new browser window on port 8084 and saw that...

Re: Config Not Saving: Stay On This Page
No, I can right click. But only on the zone names, not the device nodes listed under them.
When I right click on a zone name a context menu does come up. So I think the right click functionality is working. It's just not available for some reason on the device nodes themselves.

Re: Config Not Saving: Stay On This Page
Thanx for the tip, Erasmuz, but I can't select any device/node in the tree, let alone rename it. The devices are simply not selectable (but visible).

Linear Dimmers and Primary Controllers
Now that I've learned a bit about z-wave, the Razberry and including/excluding switches and outlets I'd like to branch out into dimmers. I'm looking at getting a 3 way Linear dimmer. But I have two questions about them that I'm hoping someone here can answer: 1) The configuration I'm looking to repl...

Routing Table and Connectivity
I'm curious about something. If I update the routing information for my network several times I can get significantly different results. The first time I may show good connectivity among all the nodes. Run it again two minutes later and I might end up with hardly any connectivity at all (i.e., lots ...

Config Not Saving: Stay On This Page
I've been using the expert UI to name my zwave devices. But I keep running into a problem where the names aren't retained between browser sessions. In other words, I rename a device from, say, my desktop system. But when I surf to the expert UI from my tablet the devices are still named device 1, de...

Re: Improve Out of the Box Experience #2
Thanx. I'll chalk this one partially to user error. However, I'm running into another problem: the range on the z-way is very limited. I can't make a reliable connection between the controller and a wall switch not 20 feet away. I was able to exclude the wall switch, so I know a connection is possib...
