Re: Password for Home Automation UI

As I understand it use of nginx as a reverse proxy is for security when coming in over the internet (or some other network separate to home) - works for me only it was a bit fiddly. Might be possible to secure within a network, but I don't know how to do that. Good to know the solution for Razberry ...

Re: Am I missing something obvious ...

I've also found a warning on the HA UI: Type: core Timestamp: 31/03/15-20:57 Message: Can not instantiate module: Daylight: TypeError: Cannot read property 'get' of null and in the log [I] [core] Notification: error (core): Can not instantiate module: Daylight: TypeError: Cannot read property 'get' ...

Re: Am I missing something obvious ...

I disabled a bunch of modules. I notice the SunriseSunset module wasn't turning on lights - I'll see if the disabling makes a difference, although not obvious why it should. Seems to be due to me moving to newer RC. The main thrust of the thread still stands - hard to see the main 'events' going on....

Re: Am I missing something obvious ...

By log I did mean /var/log/z-wave-server.log. I've found sound information is hard to interpret and some is missing. For example: Names used in setup aren't use in the log Values are encoded Actions taken by modules e.g. call scene, aren't logged (at least I don't think they are). b This should be r...

Re: Very slow UI

It's all the controls when you go into automation.
Saw this in Chrome and Firefox - eventually they start appearing quickly, but not sure what triggers this.

Example attached

Am I missing something obvious ...

I've been using the RaZberry for a few months now with a few z-wave devices. When the automation doesn't work as I expect I want to be able to see a log of events and actions. My previous X10 system had a very basic controller CM15 and this showed such a log. However, I can't find anything like this...

Very slow UI

I've recently updated to v2.0.1-rc24. The Home Automation UI is now very slow to respond. I takes several seconds for many actions, in particular the controls appearing for modules.

Re: New v2.0.0 released!

The v2.1.0 changes sound very interesting - is there a target date? Whilst I'm adding a reverse proxy for external access it would be easier to have it built in and I strongly prefer securing even within my home network. Improved UI sounds even better, but most of all I've struggled to understand th...

Re: [userMODULE] SunriseSunset - (Updated Dec 17, 2014)

In version 2.0.1-rc11 I don't see this module in the HA UI.
I believe that's because the module.json file lacks a category entry e.g.

Code: Select all

"category": "automation",

Re: Can't see userModules in the Home Automation UI

I'd been looking for Daylight under the wrong category, found it under Environment.
Looking at json file for SunriseSunset it doesn't specifcy a categroy, adding one and it appears.
Will post this to the SunriseSunset topic.
