Z-Way v4.1.1 Release

Welcome the new Z-Way release v4.1.1!

Changes since v4.0.3:

Zigbee support was added. Our future Z-Station or mPCIe dongles are required. For now, you can use ELELabs or Popp (not sure they will work in the future due to the difficulty of third-party firmwares support). Most Zigbee HA 3.0 devices are supported. Tuya devices will be partially supported in the near future. Please report your test results.

Improved Z-Wave SmartStart interface for easier deployment of S2 devices.

A new Java wrapper for libzway was added. See https://github.com/Z-Wave-Me/Z-Way-JNI-Wrapper/ for more info.

Fixed queue hang (this bug was introduced in v4.1.0)

Z-Way can run as a Home Assistant add-on https://github.com/Z-Wave-Me/ha-z-wave-me-addon

Added custom headers support to WebSocket to allow connecting with Authorization Bearer token.

Added remote access service for Ubuntu/Debian.

To know the list of all fixes and improvements please check the full Change Log at https://storage.z-wave.me/z-way-server/ChangeLog

What’s on our roadmap? Fix the HomeKit support (broken since Apple iOS 16.3 update), integration with Matter gateways and many small improvements.

Two things:

1. I got update about version 4.1.2 but the changelog doesn't reflect that. Is there another way to get the changelog?

2. The queue-growing issue seems to be solved now, but now it seems that my battery devices fail to get updated.

I have tried "force interview", what does that actually do? It seems that my device is never getting fully interviewed. I have tried excluding and reinclude and same rows are showing as pending.

I don't know how to decode this page, the column "Last communication" shows that the devices have sent something atleast, but the "sleeping" column is containing old data.

Also the battery page seems to hold old values so it complains about low battery even when I have changed the batteries.

The thermostat page also show old values, I need to manually set the temperature on the thermostat as the value seems to be disconnected from the device.

Also reported temperatures are old:

This issue with the thermostats have been plaguing me for a while now but now then it's getting colder it's a bigger issue for me :)

Any chances to build on aarch64 (aka arm64)?

Raspberry pi 4 can run both, 32-bit (as ARMv7 Processor rev 3 (v7l)), and 64-bits, as aarch64
However I see no releases for arm64.
Is it possible to build one?

Hello,
Since I updated to the latest version 4.1.2-wb1-lws16, my HomePod can no longer communicate with the HomeKit gate.
I've tried resetting HomeKit, HomePod, deleting my home from the Home app on the smartphone and then reconfiguring everything.
The smartphone works fine with Homekit Gate but when I add Homepod to my home, all accessories are unresponsive.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for your help

Thank you for asking your question, let's go in order and start with the interview. Tell me do you have this problem occurs only on 1 battery-powered device or are there more such problematic ones? Also tell me do you have such a thermostat in the first screenshot?

When you press the "Force Interview" button, the controller forgets all the "properties" of the device and starts interrogating them again, if you have exactly such a thermostat, then after pressing this button, the device needs to be woken up so that it can pass the interview. Unfortunately, I don't see any mention of 23 devices in the log you sent, do you have the opportunity to exclude this device and add it to the network? Next, tell us what ID this device has and send the log either to support@z-wave.me or to this forum

Regarding the inaccuracy in the "last communication" column, I will contact the developers and give an answer later. Also tell me about the batteries, have you not updated these values yet?

Sorry for late response, it seems my email notification didn't get delivered.

Thanks for your response and clarification. It's the device you shown picture of.

I found this thread and applying the fix to run in cron every hour solved all my issues.

Are you also an official employee like PoltoS? I haven't seen you post so much here in the forums

So, when you expect to fix HomeKit bug and, at the same time, when do you expect to add real matter compatibility in order to use matter compatible products like Sensors or light switches?

Anyway, at this moment I see 4.1.2 version but it doesn’t installs. Is this normal?

I see v4.1.2 in firmware update, is it ok?
