Post by tontze »

My fibaro is telling me in daylight ~30LUX, which really isnt correct .. But there is no offset to fix it, what do your FGMS-001 reports to you ?

I have seen values ranging from 0 Lux in a room with two dimmed ligths on to around 5500 Lux in front of the window (inside) on a bright day. Overall my feeling is that the value is on the low side. But I can be mistaken

Highest LUX i have ever gotten out of this thing, is 58lux .. Also, it looks like its reading artificial light better, but not "real" light, as days are 0lux, and at around 5pm when starting to use lights, it gets up ...

At 22:42 it was around 22lux

I just put the sensor in front of my window on a Gray and foggy day and it reads 892 Lux, which seems to be an acceptable value (according to Wikipedia).
Normally the sensor sits on a shelf at 1.5m high and about 3,5 metres from the window, in this case the highest reading is about 26 lux during the day and 0 to 6 lux in the evening.
I wonder if there is something wrong with your sensor.
