Devices not working now

Post by Colin »

My Pi crashed today (don't know why) and I had to reinstall everything (operating system, Z-way etc). Since this crash Z-way no longer works properly. I have a GE binary switch working (node 3 below) with Z-way but all of my sensors are unable to work now. For example, I'm getting the following data back from this device (node 2) below (an Aeon labs door switch - Node 2). I am unable to get any more information back from this device.I can see that the "value": 255 on the Razberry corresponds to the on/off state of the door switch now which is odd as before I was getting lots of data under the device.2 section of the JSON data, now I only get this...  I though the problem might be related to pairing of the device however the interview process worked fine. I tried Excluding this device and then re including it. I also tried  the "Reset Controller" too and started all over again but got the same problem. This device was working fine yesterday so I have no idea what is causing this? Also, z-way-demo.html no longer "sees" my Aeon labs door switch sensor, it does however see my GE Binary Switch? I'm having the same problem with my (Aeon multisensor also but I have it excluded right now so you can see any output for that - this too was working 100% perfectly before my Pi crashed). Note:  In the Device Configuration, the association is set to (be defualt, I can't chage this) to Group 1. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm thinking my RaZberry is broken due to the Pi crashing?  Sensor (device 2) set to false: {    "devices.1.instances.0.commandClasses.32.data.level": {      "name": "level",      "value": 0,      "type": "int",      "invalidateTime": 1380920510,      "updateTime": 1380922187    },    "devices.2.data.lastReceived": {      "name": "lastReceived",      "value": 0,      "type": "int",      "invalidateTime": 1380920517,      "updateTime": 1380922187    },  "updateTime": 1380922188}   Sensor (device 2) set to true: {    "devices.1.instances.0.commandClasses.32.data.level": {      "name": "level",      "value": 255,      "type": "int",      "invalidateTime": 1380920510,      "updateTime": 1380922191    },    "devices.2.data.lastReceived": {      "name": "lastReceived",      "value": 0,      "type": "int",      "invalidateTime": 1380920517,      "updateTime": 1380922191    },  "updateTime": 1380922192}  Log Output (From: /var/log Z-Way.log) for the sensor set to false: [2013-10-04 21:27:25.852] SendData Response with callback 0xba received: received by recipient[2013-10-04 21:27:25.852] SETDATA devices.3.data.lastSend = 380480 (0x0005ce40)[2013-10-04 21:27:25.853] Job 0x13 (SwitchBinary Get): success[2013-10-04 21:27:25.853] Removing job: SwitchBinary Get[2013-10-04 21:27:25.863] RECEIVED: ( 01 09 00 04 00 03 03 25 03 00 D4 )[2013-10-04 21:27:25.863] SENT ACK[2013-10-04 21:27:25.864] SETDATA devices.3.data.lastReceived = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:25.864] SETDATA devices.3.instances.0.commandClasses.37.data.level = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:31.430] Job 0x13: deleted from queue[2013-10-04 21:27:31.502] Job 0x13: deleted from queue[2013-10-04 21:27:37.546] RECEIVED: ( 01 09 00 04 00 02 03 20 01 FF 2D )[2013-10-04 21:27:37.547] SENT ACK[2013-10-04 21:27:37.547] SETDATA devices.2.data.lastReceived = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:37.547] SETDATA devices.1.instances.0.commandClasses.32.data.level = 255 (0x000000ff)[2013-10-04 21:27:43.503] RECEIVED: ( 01 09 00 04 00 02 03 20 01 00 D2 )[2013-10-04 21:27:43.503] SENT ACK[2013-10-04 21:27:43.503] SETDATA devices.2.data.lastReceived = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:43.504] SETDATA devices.1.instances.0.commandClasses.32.data.level = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:44.735] Job 0x13: deleted from queue[2013-10-04 21:27:44.802] Job 0x13: deleted from queue  Log output (From: /var/log Z-Way.log) for the sensor set to true: [2013-10-04 21:27:25.863] RECEIVED: ( 01 09 00 04 00 03 03 25 03 00 D4 )[2013-10-04 21:27:25.863] SENT ACK[2013-10-04 21:27:25.864] SETDATA devices.3.data.lastReceived = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:25.864] SETDATA devices.3.instances.0.commandClasses.37.data.level = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:31.430] Job 0x13: deleted from queue[2013-10-04 21:27:31.502] Job 0x13: deleted from queue[2013-10-04 21:27:37.546] RECEIVED: ( 01 09 00 04 00 02 03 20 01 FF 2D )[2013-10-04 21:27:37.547] SENT ACK[2013-10-04 21:27:37.547] SETDATA devices.2.data.lastReceived = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:37.547] SETDATA devices.1.instances.0.commandClasses.32.data.level = 255 (0x000000ff)[2013-10-04 21:27:43.503] RECEIVED: ( 01 09 00 04 00 02 03 20 01 00 D2 )[2013-10-04 21:27:43.503] SENT ACK[2013-10-04 21:27:43.503] SETDATA devices.2.data.lastReceived = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:43.504] SETDATA devices.1.instances.0.commandClasses.32.data.level = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:44.735] Job 0x13: deleted from queue[2013-10-04 21:27:44.802] Job 0x13: deleted from queue[2013-10-04 21:27:55.052] RECEIVED: ( 01 09 00 04 00 02 03 20 01 FF 2D )[2013-10-04 21:27:55.053] SENT ACK[2013-10-04 21:27:55.053] SETDATA devices.2.data.lastReceived = 0 (0x00000000)[2013-10-04 21:27:55.053] SETDATA devices.1.instances.0.commandClasses.32.data.level = 255 (0x000000ff UPDATE 16.10.13Solution:When my Pi crashed I updated from version 1.3.1 to v1.4, the version 1.4 was causing the above problems. I reverted back to version 1.3.1 and everything works perfectly again for me so the fault is with v1.4 and not my Pi or the Z-way Razberry Hardware.NOTE, as I've mentioned on other threads in this forum: The Aeon Multisensor and Aeon Door/window Z-wave devices DO NOT work with your version 1.4 properly however they do work perfectly with v1.3.1

This was fixed back in our v1

This was fixed back in our v1.4.1-rc1 (not a release yet). You can try it out. Or you can wait for the 1.4.1 release
