Using smartphone for presence state

I am using the Zway-Presence app to active/deactive other things. But using this app I still have to manually press a button to change my presence state.
My idea is to use my smartphone for changing my presence state. If my Smartphone is connected to my wlan than I am at home otherwise not.
For me it is not a problem to write a bash script to check if my phone is connected but I don't know how to enable/disable the presence state in the Zway-Presence app from a bash script.

Any ideas or solutions? Maybe without the Zway-Presence app?

Regards,
Holger

You should ask developer or dive in the code.

BTW, you can also ping your mobile phone to track it's presence
