Adding Razberry as secondary to Vera

Post by Mike Yeager »

Ok, I've been at this all day and tried every combination I can think of. How does one add the Razberry as a secondary controller to a Vera? I've tried the obvious controller change route and it's gone nowhere. The RPi is sitting about 2 feet from the Vera....

You need to press Start Learn Mode button on RaZberry. If it is disabled, you have to do Reset to Factory Default first. In Vera use Add device as usually.

Does this actually include it in the network? I was trying to use the "Start Controller Change" button as it states in the description that it does what I'm looking to do. Thanks for your reply and I look forward to further clarification. :D

Controller Change means that Z-Way/RaZberry will include another controller and transfer Primary Controller role to the newly included node

I would have thought that was what I was trying to do...

If you want to make Vera Primary/SIS, you need to use this button on RaZberry and LearnMode on Vera. But I don't know where is LearnMode button in Vera ;)
