Migrate to a new Raspberry Pi?

Post by benis »

Hello all!

I have an old Pi 1 with the Z-wave bridge. I got a Pi 2 from a friend and thinking of upgrading since it quite slow now. Also thinking of reinstalling the OS and restore from backup. Like:

1.) Backup my Pi 1 (via Expert mode)
2.) Install my Pi 2 with Razberry (or what it is called)
3.) Move over the Z-wave bridge thing
4.) Restore from my backup (step 1)
5.) Everything works like a charm - right?

I don't need to re-interview stuff or so?

Thanks in advance!

Just did it - worked like a charm. Remember to use both backups (both "normal" and expert backup).
