To minimize the amount of events in notifications following proposal:
Add an additional switch to all devices: Hide events for this device PERMANTLY.
And don't take those events to notifications.
For virtual devices the default should be = true, because I think these are mostly not of interest. And for real devices I for me would deactivate them nearly all.

Maybe too much is being recorded.
I like to be able to see logs for 7 days.
At the moment I am getting 36 hours.
It was better before on 2.3.5
2.3.5 notifications file size 1053K - 5000 entries - but didn't work after 2.3.5
2.3.6 notifications file size 516K - 2500 entries - fix to make it work !
Why cant we have a fix that gives us the same functionality as before ? (5000 entries)
