Aeotec Nano Switch (ZW116) secure inclusion issues

Got a Aeotec Nano Switch with power consumption reporting (product id ZW116).
When inclusion is performed in non-secure mode (single button press on the device) things work fine except for power consumption reporting.
When inclusion is performed in secure mode (double press on the device's inclusion button) things work fine - interview completes with secure command classes etc. Power consumption is reported, but after a little while the device is no longer reachable and it stops responding to anything sent from the razberry.
A look at Zsniffer shows that the controller sends Nonce requests to the device, but never get's a reply. The device is one hop away and the intermediate node is a Qubino switch.
Anybody seen a similar problem and found a work around (other than just using resetting the device and using non-secure inclusion).
