Hi all,
any chance to have z-way compiled for arm64 architecture?
i'm running a nanopc-T4 and there is only one armhf distro based on lubuntu-desktop which is quite uncomfortable.

Thanks
E

It is a pain to support too many platforms. IF there will be many users, we will focus on it.

But please consider even raspberry if moving quickly to 64bit kernels

The kernel is, but all libs are not (as stated in this screenshot). We will once they release a fully 64bits OS.

+1 to this request. I have an Odroid N2 running Android 9 (64 bit) and have enabled tx and rx on my board via dtb overlay. When I try to execute z-way-server it can't communicate with my serial port /dev/ttyS1. I have tested my serial port via a loopback program so I know it's working. Really bummed I can't get this to work :|

If Z-Way is starting on you OS, it should work. The port problem should reside somewhere else.

Check your port configuration, permissions, logs to see more details, ...

at the moment i'm running an armhf distribution (ubuntu xenial) with a 64bit kernel. It works a part of this (https://forum.z-wave.me/viewtopic.php?f=3419&t=33248).
But a true 64bit would be better!

As told by PoltoS, this is another issue.
try to run z-way-server directly from the commandline (not from systemctl) and have a look to the stdout\err

Hi all, sorry if I reopen this old discussion topic.

I have a RaspberryPi 4 with Ubuntu Mate 21.10. I bought a Razberry board, but there's no way of installing the Z-Way software, as there's no pre-compiled package available for the arm64 architecture. My questions are:
  • Is there any way of using the Razberry without the Z-Way software (any alternative?)
Is there a chance to get a arm64 package for it?
If the answer is "no" to both questions, I am afraid I have to send the board back.
