Will RazBerry support the NorthQ (or equivalent) Electricity Meter Sensors as well as the Aeon Labs Home Energy Meter (3 phase current transformer clamps, with individual phase readings) ?
If yes, where will the meter data be made accessible? On the Raspberry locally or in the Z-Cloud?
I'm trying to use to RazBerry to create a portable Energy Meter that logs Energy Consumption as well as power consumption. I only need to get the raw data, preferably in a .csv format for further analysis. I possible I would like to be able to remotely change parameters such as the data logging frequency.
If the electrcity logging setup is successfull, I'm planning to expand the system an include Temperature and CO2-Logging as well as caloric energy metering (heat).
BTW, I will miss your presentation at the CeBit on March 8th, will you make the slides accessible?
Thanks for a reply,
danilo
RazBerry Support NorthQ and Aeon Labs Electrity Meter?
RaZberry software supports
RaZberry software supports Aeon Meters and partially NorthQ. Full support of NorthQ will come soon.
As for Z-Cloud, it fully supports both devices.
With both Z-Cloud and RaZberry you are able to change logging frequency. Temperature and CO2 are already supported too.
We will think about making these slides public on the site.

Z-Cloud still needed?
Is Z-Cloud still needed to run RaZberry? If so what is its role?

No! RaZberry does not require

You still can use ReZberry
You still can use ReZberry module with Z-Cloud by using it as a simple dongle. But a standalone Z-Way is better for most situations.
