Dear PoltoS,

I have some questions:

- Is there difference between signal distance of uzb and razberry ?
- Why I need licence for uzb, please could you explain ?
- What is the advantage of using razberry over uzb ?

Yes. New RaZberry is about twice better in range than the UZB. This is because UZB is very small and a small antenna is not that efficient as a bigger one.

You need it only to use our Z-Way software. This is your act to give food to our developers ;) If you don't use Z-Way, you don't need the license.

- What is the advantage of using razberry over uzb ?

RaZberry has a better range, it is inside the encloser (you can not accidentelly break it), it does not occupy a USB (but do occupy UART and requires internal Bluetooth to be off)

Hi PoltoS,

What is the maximum range of the New RaZberry vs the UZB? I read that both can become bridge controller. Do I need to install or run some script to make that happen? I assume both devices can hold up to 232 devices like Z-Wave standard?

Range depends on your indoor situation. Typically it is 10-15 m vs 5-7 m indoor.

There are firmwares for bridge. You need to do firmware upgrade in Z-Way.

Both can hold up to 232-1

Hi PoltoS,

How about outdoor? Does the range go up to 100 feet? Is there a way to do firmware upgrade without Z-Way? if I have to use Z-Way to upgrade firmware I need to buy the license right?

For upgrade no license needed. You can upgrade without, but easiest is to use Z-Way
