Antenna signal ?

Hi

Having range issue in my flat with my ZWave devices I'd like to know what is best orientation to use for the board to get better coverage ? A radio coverage schema avalaible somewhere ?

no one has any clues about it ?? very disappointed with my board and the so short range :(

RaZberry uses a Silabs reference PCBA antenna for 868 MHz. You can find its diagram in the internet.

But note that final range will depend a lot on the neighbouring of the antenna. Pi case, cables around, etc

Hi Polto,

so using the Razberry on a Pi and horizontel is the best way?
Or should we use another orinentation with the Pi?

It depends where your devices are and how their antennas are oriented ;)

RaZberry antenna is almost same as WES0031-01-APL868M-01 from https://www.silabs.com/documents/public ... /AN782.pdf
Check pp 6-11.
