Zway remote access cant log in

Posted: 29 Nov 2017 19:19
by Bossman
Did a new install on PI3 and then installed z-wave.me. went to find.z-wave.me and login screen opened but keeps saying remote access not possable or wrong password.

Please help me get to location to verify user name and password. I tried the Remote Id and password that was in terminal during install but not working.

When I click on the Ip below Login box it opens up browser that says The site cant be reached.

I am lost. Very new to Razberry and All I want to do with it is get the Zwave.me working for now.

Thanks

I tried doing as it says.
I am using the Remote ID and password that populates during install. Still no luck logging in.
Does anybody have the know how to lead me to the user name and password for Zway on my PI?

As this is a new installation, are you using stretch or jessie.
I read about problems with stretch and not working with z-way, but don´t know exactly whats the problem.
Maybe you should try jessie.

Did you try to login locally? Login is "admin"

I downloaded NOOBS V2_4_4 and from it I loaded the Raspbian OS. I have not found where it says what version of Raspbian it has with it

Hi, seems to be stretch, as there is a hint on the download side:
https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/noobs/
that it contains Raspbian. If you click on this link it shows the stretch image......

This was installed with the NOOBS
Here is what I did in the command line and got:
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ cat /etc/os-release
PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch)"
NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux"
VERSION_ID="9"
VERSION="9 (stretch)"
ID=raspbian
ID_LIKE=debian
HOME_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/"
SUPPORT_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianForums"
BUG_REPORT_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianBugs"

So I see that it is not the jessie version but i have searched the internet and cant seem to find the right version.

Ok I think I found the jessie version.here http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspbi ... 017-07-05/
Is it possable to load it from the PI that I installed noobs on? Or when I install without noobs how do I get to a desktop for downloading the zway to pi?
