Hi,
is it possible to install razberry software on a read-only filesystem?

I want to prevent SD-Card wearing as my SD cards usually die after a month or two.

Yes. That was discussed in other topics. There are only few folders that should be re. But better to buy a good SD card. I use at home for 5 years from now without changing my old Pi B+
