Fibaro FGS221 dual relay

Post by pz1 »

I have just included Fibaro FGS221 dual relay. It is recognised by the software as shown under the DEvices configuration tab. However not all parameters that the device has can be set there. The alarm settings seem pretty complete, but the automatic turn off period is not there. I do need that one badly for my intended application.
On the operational side I see in the screen that I can operate both switches through the user interface. I have no load connected, but I do hear the clicks of the relay. However if the little light bulb always stays yellow on all relevant displays. The Map view has only one bulb for both relays, but that being fixed is not a priority for me.
Edit: I see parameters 1, 3,4,5,6,7 are missing from the specification in the PepperOne database.

There are two versions of Fibaro devices description. Please try second one. Also, not sure we have the description for 1.4 version and that it is full and complete.

As for the bulb on the map, indeed, it refers only to instance 0, which is mapped to instance 1 or both instances (not sure - both are allowed)

I can only see one description

Post by pz1 »

I can only find one description of the FG221 dual relay. Both your software and PepperOne refer to one single instance of FGS221 V1.1. The device itself nor the package does carry a version number.
Edit: The specification leaflet in the box says FGS221 v1.4-v1.7

Updated at PepperOne

Post by pz1 »

I noticed that there is a new description by "cpae" for this device in the PepperOne database:
http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb/device/337. It seems to have the missing parameters.
Does it make sense to Re-Interview or Re-Include the device at this moment?

Changing the description file did not result in the parameters for automatic switch off to become visible in the Device configuration screen. Could it be possible that this updated P1 database is not yet available for Z-Cloud?
I noticed that the device-link '128' you gave is no longer available.

The new description is there

Post by pz1 »

The new description is there. Unfortunately this did not bring the option to directly edit the switch off delay in the device configuration screen. Did not find an option in the Expert commands either. Have to study that further. I'll come back here if I really get stuck
