Fibaro FGSD-002

Post by pierre2302 »

Hello

I have included the FGSS-002 Module I selected the device description FGSD-002 but I have a problem with the smoke detector is not working.

So I wanted selected FGSS-002 device description found in pepper1 and corresponds to 670-010f-0c02-1002-03-03-63-03-01.xml file ( http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb/device/670 ). the file is present in the ZDDX my raspberry but could not find it in select device description.

How can I do to find it in the list, I guess the name does not match ?

Thank you

I'm using 2.2.1-rc3 release.

The smoke sensor appears, he worked with a few minutes delay in the change of state against by now it does not work at all.

I also own the FGSS-001 model, and it works great.

Both the XML on Pepper1 and in the ZWay directory do not comply with their own XML-schema z-wave_v2.xsd.

There are quite a few more with errors and ambiguities that I reported. The only response I got is that they don't have the time to fix....
So I gave up long ago

It is really disappointing.

if I understood well it is better to avoid Zwave-plus modules.

In the newer Zway releases it seems quite a few fibaro issues have been solved. Don't know about this specific device.
You could have a try. Most of the pain of a broken XML is with the parameter configuration, but most (if not all of the device could work without it, but that takes ExpertCommands to set parameters.)

yes, I have noticed that some modules do not work when you use the configuration XML files.

I have this problem with the detector (FGFS-101)
