Sure, Nº 255 is the unsaved parameter in my sensor configuration too.
maybe my problem has also to do with this topic: https://forum.z-wave.me/viewtopic.php?f ... y+bindings these log outputs i get also with my sensor.

Actually, since the rc7-upgrade, I haven't seen any "Too many bindings" in the log. Maybe it's to early to draw any conclusions yet since the server has only been up for less than 24h, but previously I got the error quite soon after a server restart.

But I still have a job queue that is huge, at the moment 58 entries   . Do you have problems with lot of entries in the queue?

Hmmm, don't know, looks like you have approx 25 entries? I'm having a bit of a problem reading the format, but I got some tips from pz1 in another thread - Endless problems of jobs stuck in queue. I was hoping for some clarification from the z-way.me team, but nothing.

BTW, I managed to get rid of all "unsaved" parameters. The problem seemed to be that the values were "null", i.e. there was no json data-structure at all for those parameters. So it didn't help if I tried to explicitly set the value like:

Code: Select all

8083/ZWaveAPI/Run/devices[2].instances[0].commandClasses[112].data[202].val.value=0
because getting the data in the first place

Code: Select all

8083/ZWaveAPI/Run/devices[2].instances[0].commandClasses[112].data[202]
just returned null, instead of the json structure.

Then I reset it by setting param 255 to 2 and then back to 1 (which is default according to spec):

Code: Select all

8083/ZWaveAPI/Run/devices[2].instances[0].commandClasses[112].data[255].val.value=2
8083/ZWaveAPI/Run/devices[2].instances[0].commandClasses[112].data[255].val.value=1
which finally got rid of those nasty red messages in config page. So, one small step for makind...but a whole freakin' marathon left...

Ah, nice tip, thank you!
...btw, i can´t believe it, but yesterday i can´t control any actor, (expect that i played around with changeing some device descriptions for multisensor and Fibaor Dimmer, i didn´t made anything) so i restarted firmware with no success, than i made a reboot of the system and after that, i have no devices anymore in z-way included!?
now, first i have to reset and include all my devices again! :( :(

@vga, did you make a backup in ExpertUI? With restore you can get at least all your devices back (check both boxes on restore) Don't try restore of Smarthome; that is a useless mess at the moment. (They seem to be working on that now)

thanks pz1, but through my own fault i didn´t made a backup. :?
So, it is not so bad, since i included 6 actors and 4 sensors, but for the future i will learn from it! ;)
