Calibrating the Aeotech Multisensor 6 in 1

Post by jarnold »

My Aeotech Multisensor 6 in 1 gives sensor results, which are way off the real value. Therefore I am trying to calibrate the sensor by setting the paramater 201, 202 and 203. For 204 I do not have a reference.

I got to manage the calibration of the temperature. The temperatur read was 4.5 degrees higher than the real value. According to the manual I calculated -4.5 leads with 1 decimal to 45 which have to be subtracted from 256. 256-45=211 bytes = B3 hexadecimal. By adding the settings for degrees celcius 01 it leads to hex B301. And this gives 54017 decimal. Setting value 201 to 54017 brings me the right temperature.

Now I have problems with the calibration of humidity value 202. It reads 20% lower than the actual humidity is. According to the manual the value 20 decimal should be entered directly, as there is no differenciation between US and Europe. But if I am entering 20 nothing is changing in the calibration reading and even entering hex 14 does not have any effect. The same is for parameter 203. It is reading 150 lux lower but setting the value to 150 does not chang the reading.

What do I missing here? Could somebody advice, what I am doing wrong and what values are to enter for value 202 and 203?
