How to install app via the "Zwave.me App Store"

Post by vincent » 25 Oct 2016 16:20

I've been look for a while now how to install (hidden) apps.
When I look to the description of the different apps, I read the description : 'The preferred way of installing this module is via the "Zwave.me App Store" available in 2.2.0 and higher'.

But I didn't find how to effectively install (using the preferred way).
Can anyone clarify?

In SmartHome select All Apps instead of the initial screen with Featured Apps. That one is a bit misleading for new users

Hi, again.

That one I found, at least if you are referring to the page : http://developer.z-wave.me/?uri=public#/web/apps.

On my installation of Smarthome I only have access to "Featured apps (4)".

So, I don't find any way to proceed (using the developer one) : when I click on the app Christmas Lights (for example), I get this :

hmm... If you click on Featured apps, don't you see the option to select other collections including All?
I did give you the Developer URL, because you can more quickly browse the apps. But it does afaik not dowload or install.

Which Z-Wave controller do you use? RaZberry has a ZWay user license built in, but for UZB1 you have to purchase that separately.

Indeed, when I click on "Featured Apps", I get a whole menu (with all local apps).
(it was not that clear, maybe a little triangle on the button could be helpful here).
And online all the apps you described are appearing.

Thanks.

By the way I have a RaZberry with (I suppose) the licence key build in.

Go to Active -> All Apps. Thats where you will get all the apps.
