ONVIF IP Camera Support

Hey there,

I'd really appreciate support for ONVIF Video Camera. Quite a lot of Doorbell IP Cameras provide an onvif interface for video transmission that could be put to use with Z-Way. A tablet running z-way that could also work with a doorbell solution would be quite the charm.

thanks and best regards,

rws

Hi PoltoS,

thanks for your reply. Let me share what I found

Stackoverflow has a conversation where someone gives advice on how to implement a server and it appears that the given advice was good enough to do it.
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2989 ... arty-codes

These guys are selling source code for a client
http://www.happytimesoft.com/products/onvif-client/

Linux wise I found a github project that looks kind of useful
https://github.com/veyesys/opencvr/wiki/Features

Github has a python implementation for a client that could also be useful
https://github.com/quatanium/python-onvif

This here is a tutorial on how to create a client, that might really be of help
http://pdn.pelco.com/content/developing ... lication-0

Another tutorial, but it builds on top of the ozeki dev kit which is .net
http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/sho ... to-smartph
http://www.camera-sdk.com/p_29-introduc ... onvif.html

Is that of any help to you?

Regards,

Simply using google "onvif specification" brings you to the specs:
