EU model will work perfectly for Malaysia.
As was already discussed above.

Never mind. Didn't see that it was on Russian frequency in Arduino IDE, so my sketch build was the wrong frequency. Changed it to EU and I can confirm simple dimmer to be working
I had the exact same problem, though my controller is a Homeseer Hometroller Zee S2. Setting the frequency should be included in the guides.

I have a z-uno purchase from https://z-uno.us and can not get the z-uno to join my SmartThings hub. The z-uno has never been connected to my hub. Using an example sketch under basics called blink. The Frequency is set to USA. I have tried pushing the z-uno button 3 times and resetting with a 5 second hold of the button. Nothing seems to help! The hub is about 5 meters away from the z-uno device. Suggestions?

First try to bring it closer.
Then try the Rescue mode.

Bring the z-uno close to the Smartthing hub and rescue did not help.

This what my SmartThing hub logs
No devices to add, verified devices: [:]

Is there any indication that the z-uno is attempting to be included into a hub? Or do you have another suggestion?

Thank you! I was not pressing the service button 3 times fast enough. The z-uno is now included on my SmartThings hub.
