How to get New Hardware ID (like MAC Spoofing)

Hi,

i have the problem, that my z-uno cant be registered anymore at my HC2.
I think i didn´t delete the device in a clean way, so the device ID is anywhere in the HC2 Z-Wave Database stored.

The z-uno works without any problems. I can push sketches, read the sensors (serial output) without any problems. But i cannot add it again to my gateway. Are there any hope for me?

I tried to burn the bootloader again, but it doesnt work.

Greetings,

duese

Hi,

can you just try to remove the node? I think that flashing a new sketch will not delete the Include-Status to the ZWave network.

If that is not possible you can try the full reset... See the description here.

Andreas

i tried this already, but it doesnt work for me.
The z-uno isn´t the problem, it is the fibaro gateway, because the node id is in the database stored and can´t be deleted.

Hi,

beside the node-ID which is given to a node by the controller during the include process, there is no other ID or serial number. So if the full reset worked, the device should be "free" to be included again and the controller should assign a new node-ID to the Z-Uno.

So I can't see why it should not work other than that the reset did not work as described.
Long press service (until red LED will flash) then 3 x press short the same button.
I don't have a Fibaro system so I can't help you more...

Good Luck,
Andreas.

Hi,

ok, good to know that the factory reset really works and solve the issue.

Andreas.
