Just bought my first Z-Uno today (to use instead of a Fibaro Universal Sensor) but I can't get it connected to my computer?
I have tried plugging it in using three different USB-cables on two different computers (both running Windows 10) but the device is not regognized. I DON'T get a "Unknown device" in the Device Manager, so I can't update the device with the correct drivers.
The device do get power when connected to the USB port. It flashes green-white and I managed to pair it to my Vera (but because I can't use it with my Arduino IDE I can't upload sketches).
I have tried both Rescue mode and Device reset (described in https://z-uno.z-wave.me/getting-started/troubleshooting) to no avail. I have tried to press the reset button when connected to the computer.
Is the device faulty? I JUST bought it?

You have installed the Windows driver?

Was it ever working before at this computer?

Re: Z-Uno not detected in Windows 10?
No,the device has never been detected by the computer. No sound when plugged in and no device in the Device Manager.
I have also tried to install the drivers manually by choosing Add hardware->Have Disc but this did not detect the Z-Uno either when I later re-inserted the device.
The device IS powered on when inserted in the USB port. The LED on the Z-Uno is flashing and I can include it to my Z-Wave controller.
The device was NIB, bought from a re-seller here in Sweden (https://www.kjell.com/se/).

Re: Z-Uno not detected in Windows 10?
A stupid question maybe.....
You are suree that you have a right USB cable?
There are USB cable on the market - only for USB power - without additional connections for communication.
I also had such a cable in my hands some time ago and was a bit confused about missing serial connectiom (for other device...)
Maybe try another type of USB cable?
(Sorry for "stupid idea" ...)

Re: Z-Uno not detected in Windows 10?
That is not a stupid question! I have read about other users who have had just this issue and when it was solved by switching cables!
However, I have already tried three different USB-cables, but I will try and find some additional cables before I bring the device back to the store. You never know...

Re: Z-Uno not detected in Windows 10?
Hi,
next "stupied" question... Did you plug the ZUNO directly to the computer or is there an USB hub? I had a lot of very weird errors and problems when I used an USB hub (with Windows 10). It was detected, but there were some strange errors during uploading new sketches. Connecting it directly to a free port solved everything...
next "stupied" question... Have you tried using rescue mode?
Regards,
Andreas.

Re: Z-Uno not detected in Windows 10?
I solved the issue the easy way, got a replacement from the store... The new board is recognized without problems! Yay!
I tried several other USB cables before, one that I know can be used for data. I do not use a USB hub. I tried Rescue mode and Device reset.
