Z-Uno Quick Start Guide
Re: Z-Uno Quick Start Guide
Nice work! This document will make the first steps with z-uno even more easy.

Awesome! This thread needs to be stickied.
Re: Z-Uno Quick Start Guide
Arduino IDE requires a special Z-Uno package. To install Z-Uno package first go
to Preferences (File > Preferences) and enter http://z-uno.z-wave.me/files/z-uno/
package_z-wave.me_index.json in Additional Board Manager URLs field. Then go
to Board Manager (Tools > Board > Board Manager) and scroll to Z-Uno package.
I uninstalled Arduino IDE 1.8.5 and finally found and installed 1.6.5
Same results with both 1.8.5.and 1.6.5 - NO Z-UNO board type offered.
Needless to say, I closed and reopened both apps.....

Have you managed to select and install the Z-Uno package? Can you paste I a separate thread your screenshot of board manager Z-Uno package record and Tools->Boards menu
Re: Z-Uno Quick Start Guide
Here are the relative screen shots. What is the package you are referring to? I have not yet received the ZUNO yet...ordered but no idea when they will ship?

Re: Z-Uno Quick Start Guide
Looks like you missed the step with setting the URL in Board Manager.
Please don't miss steps 4 and 5 from this guide: https://z-uno.z-wave.me/install

Re: Z-Uno Quick Start Guide
I have followed the guide up to an error in step 10.
I have installed the z-uno tools and selected the board and programmer as z-uno. (through step 8)
I have skipped step 9 since I am on Win10, and I verified that there is no unknown device in device manager. (step 9)
In step 10 I cannot select the z-uno device as a port, it is not listed.
I have an Elegoo Uno R3 that correctly enumerates as COM5 and it works perfectly.
I have rebooted several times. I am using Arduino environment 1.8.13
What are other reasons for missing the COM port selection for the z-uno?

Re: Z-Uno Quick Start Guide
I have installed WindowsDriverUZB on the PC that is running Winver 1909, build 18363.900
The device still does not show an available Z-Uno port.
I have tried 3 known good USB cables (these cables work with other devices).
I have eliminated any hubs from the connection. Many other devices work on the PC's USB port.
I have 2 Z-Uno devices, neither one shows an available Z-Uno port.
Both Z-Uno devices power on and show a blinking LED.
The same behavior exists on a different PC running Winver 20H2 build 19042.746
Any other troubleshooting steps?
