Old bolier to Z-wave

Post by urbansk »

Hi all!

I'am starting a project to make my old bolier connected to my Z-wave network.
The first challenge is to replace the boilers external temperature sensor and temperature settings controllable using the Z-uno and the z-wave network.
I have used an MCP4241 dual digital potentiometer to achieve this.
This replaces the NTC thermistor, for current temperature, and the potentiometer for the temperature setting on the bolier.

Next thing to solve is to get the rooms temperature sent to the Z-uno using Z-wave.
I have searched the forums without success.
I have an SRT3221 thermostat in my livingroom connected to my Z-wave network.
Q: I would like to use this to send the current temperature and the expected temperature in the livingroom to the Z-uno.

Is this possible?
If so, any hints how to do it?

Z-Uno can't not accept Sensor Reports from other devices. If SRT can send it as Basic, this can be converted to Switch Multilevel.

Otherwise you can configure your controller to catch Reports and send a Set to Z-Uno
