How Association tab work?
Re: How Association tab work?
Hi.
First, I would recommend not to use the "rc" releases.
If you associate a device, then the current one will directly communicate/control with the associated device, without the need of a gateway. To my knowledge you whould not have others than the gatway (z-way) in the lifeline.
I.e. You could associate your bulb with the motion sensor. Then the bulb will be switched whenever the motion is on. For this you have to configure the association tab for the the motion sensor, not the bulb.

So, i.e. I have a controller, a bulb and a motion sensor and they are in the range of the controller.
If I associate the bulb with the motion sensor and after I bring them out of range of the controller will be swiched the bulb when the motion sensor is on ?

Re: How Association tab work?
vice versa. you need to put the bulb in the association group of a motion sensor.
But note that groups have different meaning. LifeLine group (the one on your example) is the group to which the device reports all own updates. For on/off you need another group (in motion sensors usually group #2).
Please read our online manual (https://github.com/Z-Wave-Me/Z-Way-Manu ... wayDev.pdf)

Re: How Association tab work?
Now I have reset the controller and re-include only the fibaro "magic eyes" and the led bulb and I created an association.
Do I have to do anything else?
but when the PIR sensor notice detects a movement the led bulb doesn't changes its state (remain off). Do I have to do anything else?

Re: How Association tab work?
...the magic eye was awake between? just during a wake up sends the controller the association-info to the magic eye, after this , it should work
in your picture the red time-stamp seems to say the magic eye wasnt awake

Re: How Association tab work?
This configuration are working about two day and newer the led bulb turn on when the fibaro motion sensor detected a movement. So, I don't think that is a problem of wake-up ..
