Help: connection lost to z-wave device

After about two months of everything working smoothly, one of my devices has started mis-behaving. It is a Fibaro Roller Shutter 2, which is set to open and close the shutters on a schedule. The events log shows many entries like:

Connection lost to z-wave device ID: 3
Z-Wave device ID is back to life: 3

When I try to control it from the web UI or mobile app it sometimes works, sometimes not.
The local switch works fine.

I am not sure what to look for in the logs or how to diagnose this, can someone please help?

Once you try to control it, save logs and present them
